This is a fabulous mail program for sending group emails....I have had it for a couple of years and I wouldnt be without it on my iPad! It is updated regularly, and support is fantastic! I recently asked a question by email and had a response within an hour. When I had a further question, response time was just as quick!

If I could give this app ten stars, I would. Support is unbelievable. In all of the years I have purchased apps, there are only two that I would highly recommend and this is one of them. Well worth the purchase. Great job, Pete!!!!

With the latest its update, Mailshot about does it all. Adding synchronized distribution lists on all your devices was a much awaited improvement. Its easy to use and has been improving with each version. I teach five classes a week each consisting of 12-30 different students. Each week I email each group and sometimes some emails go to multiple groups at the same time. MailShot handles this very well. What I especially like about it is that I can take my emails from a column in my spreadsheet (where I have my rosters) and Paste Address String. And wahla, the whole bunch is accepted, and my distribution list of 30 students is created with a single copy and paste. In each group I may exclude as many students as I want. To add them back, I simply check their address and theyll back in the list. If you want to slightly modify a group, simply duplicate it then rename the new group and modify it to your hearts content. Also I may also copy two adjacent columns in my spreadsheet, the first being the addressees name and the second being their emails, and paste these into MailShot to create a distribution list with their names and addresses. Usually I will need to forward an email. I go to MailShot, copy the distribution list to my clipboard then paste it in my forwarded email--easy as pie. I had a problem on Christmas Day; so I emailed MailShot my problem. Within an hour they were back to me and solved my problem. Unbelievable!! Ive been using MailShot for years and use it a lot. Latest update will open, but never gets beyond syncing with iCloud. Am on an iPad through the Internet.

July 2016 The latest mailshot pro is absolutely terrific. Peter added the ability to sort by first name/ last name which is the way I keep my names in the Apple Address book. Of the many utilities I have downloaded, mailshot pro is by far the most useful one. In addition writing any problems to Peter, one always gets a response that he will look into it and the support is absolutely tops. IOS9 I was very worried when I heard that the app no longer could select a group mail program as I send out a group of about 80 emails. The two ways to work around the IOS9 change are excellent. If I am composing an email to a group, I do it in MailShot, if I am forwarding an email, I copy the group list from mailshot onto the clipboard and and paste it into the blind carbon copy line in mail. A little extra work but hopefully Apple will shape up and allow the app to work as previously.

After a recent update something didnt work the way it use to, I sent an email and a request to put it back the way it was. Peter answered in a very timely fashion and although the explanation part didnt come through, for whatever reason, I continued to email and he continued to answer till it came. Not many customer services would be this persistent and thorough. Top notch !!!! Dick O An update to my previous review. After losing a feature in the last update, I contacted customer support and expressed my unhappiness with that situation. Within a few days an update to restore the feature so I could put it back the way I had it before was sent out, PROBLEM SOLVED ! Now THATS customer service !!!! Kudos, MailShot Pro DickO

I dont know how I would send out the group email for our church prayer chain without this app. It isnt fancy but it is easy and dependable. The creators keep it up to date with each new iOS. It just works, on my phone and on my iPad. Really cant ask for more. Excellent app!

I have this app loaded on both my iPhone and iPad. It is very easy to create groups. The new sync feature is working great. Im pleased that I can create a group and easily sync it to my other device. I have used the app now for close to 5 years and when I had questions, the support was rapid and helpful. I fully recommend this app if you need to email large groups. I also use their text app for large groups as well.

I have been using MailShot Pro for several years, and I love it. I started on the free MailShot app. and used it for a bit, but my need for lists got greater and the groups got larger, so I switched to the Pro version. Apples IOS updates havent always been the friendliest changes for this app, but the developer(s) keep finding workarounds for Apples tendency to upset the apple cart of already existing apps functioning. Very handy app and I highly recommend it. Great support, too.

Overall I like the app its great when you update something in your contacts the next time you going to the app and you tap on my name it gives you the option to update me more information thats a plus looking forward to the changes for iOS 10 as well.
